About Us
Dr. Adelsperger earned her D.D.S. with honors at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, Indianapolis, IN. She also completed her residency and earned her M.S.D. in orthodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Adelsperger is a former part-time instructor in orthodontics at Indiana.
Professionally, Dr. Adelsperger is a member of the American Association of orthodontics, Indiana University Orthodontic Alumni Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society (IDDS) and is a past editor of the IDDS news magazine "Dateline" She is a member of an orthodontic study club as well.
Dr. Adelsperger's husband, John is a board certified oral surgeon in Indianapolis. They have two daughters, Campbell and Carsen. She enjoys running, skiing, scuba diving & doing stained glass.
Meet Our Doctor
When I was a little girl I had baby teeth that wouldn’t fall out and adult teeth that wouldn’t come in because they were too big for my jaws. My parents took me to the dentist and they recommended an orthodontics consultation- the rest is history! I was fortunate enough to have been treated with an expander to make room for my teeth followed by braces to straighten them. All the while I was fascinated by the process. I always liked science in school, and I also liked “tinkering” with things. I thought this would be the perfect way to get to do both things and mentioned my interest to my pediatric dentist, Dr. Betty Koss. She encouraged me to pursue dentistry, get good grades, and see where that led me. I am still thankful every day for the encouragement she gave me to follow my dreams.
I attended Butler University (GO DOGS!) majoring in chemistry and was accepted to the Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1996 with my DDS. This is also where I met my husband John who also attended Butler and IU and is an oral surgeon with Indiana Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates. We have two daughters Campbell and Carsen. We enjoy chasing them around to their activities, traveling, doing triathlons, and outdoor activities.
My orthodontics residency was also at IU and I completed my MSD in orthodontics in 1998. I immediately started my practice here in Brownsburg in a small leased office. We moved to our current location in 2007 and have been thrilled to partner with several community organizations including the Brownsburg Education Foundation, Hendricks County Habit of the Heart, and numerous athletic, musical, and service projects. Now, many years later, I still LOVE this profession for the smiles I get to take part in creating; the families I get to meet and grow with along the way, and the wonderful team that I have the privilege of serving our community with. I am truly blessed to be a part of our community and look forward to introducing you, your friends, and your family to our Orthodontic team! Be prepared to smile!
Meet Our Staff
Hi. My name is Nicole and I am the Treatment Coordinator. I have been working full-time in dentistry since 1993 and working in Orthodontics since 1996. I started working with Dr. Adelsperger in July 1998. I am a certified dental X-ray Tech. I obtained my bachelor degree in general studies from Indiana University. My husband, Gary and I were married in 1998. We live in Avon and have two sons, Hunter and Grant. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, running, scrap booking and spending time with my family. I look forward to meeting all of our new patients and assisting you in the process of starting orthodontic treatment.
Hi! My name is Rachel and I am the lab technician for Adelsperger Orthodontics. My job is exciting because I get to be creative in making the appliances and retainers. I graduated from Kaplan College in May 2008. I attended Brownsburg High School and graduated in 2006. I recently married my high school sweetheart, Brad. We live in Lebanon with our dog, Lilly. I am one of a set of triplets and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy being outside and decorating our new home!
Hi, I am Dayna! I am an orthodontic assistant! I graduated from Ivy Tech as a certified Dental Assistant in 2010. I moved to Brownsburg from Muncie in 2013 to start working for Dr. Adelsperger. I have a wonderful boyfriend name Josh, and a spoiled black lab puppy, Tyson, who gets most of my attention. In my spare time I work as a server at Texas Roadhouse, and I love to bake and cook all new things. I love seeing and getting to know all of our patients throughout their treatment. This truly is the best job and I love being a part of Adelsperger Orthodontics team!
